About Me

My photo
I am a daughter caring for elderly parents. I am a sister who is extremely proud of her brother and sister. I am an aunt who loves my nieces more than I ever thought I could love anyone. I am a "no-problem" friend. I am the smiling face at the front desk, greeting everyone in a positive manner. I hopefully encourage people to find joy and peace in the midst of adversity. I am a responsible member of my community. I am told I sometimes look at the world through rose-colored glasses. Red is my favorite color. :) I am happy to be nappy! There's nothing better than a nice bubble bath, unless there's pumpkin cheesecake waiting for me when I get out. :) I know the Source of my supply. I am grateful.

Eating Your Way To Serenity

When I saw this video I knew I had to share it. Stress-Busting Foods

I was pleased to find that most of the items on the list are already a big part of my food choices, but I gained a lot of information about WHY they are great choices.  We really are what we eat and what's eating us.  Be aware.

I hope You enjoy this video as much as I did.

Be well.

Be Easy On Yourself

We are five days into the New Year, 2013, and there are far too many people thinking that they are failures. Could it be that You expected too much? Did You set your bar too high? Please don't think that You can "go from 0 to 60 in one day", there is a process to change, there is work to be done. We first need to KNOW who we are and have confidence in that knowing. In that confidence, there is Faith, which is the driving force to change. There is work to do, and You are certainly up to the task because You already have within You all that You need.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

My wonderful Uncle, Charles White, nicknamed me "Baby Steps".  You can't possibly know how much that means to me. Each time I bite off a little more than I can chew, I remember my nickname.  Thank You, Uncle Charles, for seeing me in my journey, as a child, and recognizing what I needed to be reminded of.  You are still a blessing in my life, as You always present me before the Father for greatness.

Please know, Beloved, that whatever Our endeavor, we need to be Patient AND Persistent.  One day is One day and we need to stay in that day. Yesterday is dead and tomorrow is not yet to come. Though with every day the possibilities still exist for miracles.  PLEASE see the Joy in every moment of Your life because it is there. And upon those moments, You will create a beautiful life.

Always seek to do better and You will, because in your Belief, You will be able to hear the Still, Small Voice of the Creator that is Your Divine Guide.  His words do not return void. TRUST, because You were made in perfection. Let it be.

I Love You, Be.

FAITH

Sunday, December 30, 2012, I attended services at Transforming Love Community, www.tlctheplace2b.org. The services at TLC are ALWAYS AWESOME and I never leave unfed.  The speaker was Rev. Spencer Murray from Conyers, GA. He and His wife are wonderful people and I pray all greatness for them, as they have suffered so much in 2012.  During his presentation, Minister Murray said "Do The Thing, Then You Get the Power".  BAM !!!!!!!!!!! Those words sang to my Heart. What is it that You want to Do?  Just Do It!!!  What can You lose...What can You gain?

It is truly our Faith that allows us to overcome our fears and achieve success.  I am sure that there have been times in your life that help You to understand this concept. I have had the fortunate opportunity to see that God is my ONLY hope for peace/success and no one or nothing else. He's a jealous God and for good reason.  His words NEVER return void. What He has promised, He will deliver, but there can be no doubt in my heart. TRUST.

It is Faith that is the Power.  Whenever we put our cares in the hands of the Creator, we tap into ALL that is Good. The important part about releasing is RELEASING.  If you plant a seed and go back every day and dig it up to check on it, it will never grow!!! Let it GO. Don't look back, stay positive and keep it moving.  Get out of God's business, he's working it out and when You trust, You never have to wonder how.  Just thank Him daily for keeping You stable and strong during the journey. No one can judge You and if they do, who cares.  You are created in perfection and You are the twinkle in the eye of God. That is our only motivation.

This is the time of year when people make "resolutions" to live better or differently.  If we are committed to "doing the thing", in faith, knowing you have the support of the Most High, that is when you "get the power".  Just KNOW...and everything else falls into place.  Yes, You will experience moments of discomfort and there will be challenges. Things will not always look like You think they should...
Matthew 24:13 But he who endures to the end, the same will be saved.

I Love You with All My Heart. Love and Light.
