About Me

My photo
I am a daughter caring for elderly parents. I am a sister who is extremely proud of her brother and sister. I am an aunt who loves my nieces more than I ever thought I could love anyone. I am a "no-problem" friend. I am the smiling face at the front desk, greeting everyone in a positive manner. I hopefully encourage people to find joy and peace in the midst of adversity. I am a responsible member of my community. I am told I sometimes look at the world through rose-colored glasses. Red is my favorite color. :) I am happy to be nappy! There's nothing better than a nice bubble bath, unless there's pumpkin cheesecake waiting for me when I get out. :) I know the Source of my supply. I am grateful.

Be Easy On Yourself

We are five days into the New Year, 2013, and there are far too many people thinking that they are failures. Could it be that You expected too much? Did You set your bar too high? Please don't think that You can "go from 0 to 60 in one day", there is a process to change, there is work to be done. We first need to KNOW who we are and have confidence in that knowing. In that confidence, there is Faith, which is the driving force to change. There is work to do, and You are certainly up to the task because You already have within You all that You need.

But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

My wonderful Uncle, Charles White, nicknamed me "Baby Steps".  You can't possibly know how much that means to me. Each time I bite off a little more than I can chew, I remember my nickname.  Thank You, Uncle Charles, for seeing me in my journey, as a child, and recognizing what I needed to be reminded of.  You are still a blessing in my life, as You always present me before the Father for greatness.

Please know, Beloved, that whatever Our endeavor, we need to be Patient AND Persistent.  One day is One day and we need to stay in that day. Yesterday is dead and tomorrow is not yet to come. Though with every day the possibilities still exist for miracles.  PLEASE see the Joy in every moment of Your life because it is there. And upon those moments, You will create a beautiful life.

Always seek to do better and You will, because in your Belief, You will be able to hear the Still, Small Voice of the Creator that is Your Divine Guide.  His words do not return void. TRUST, because You were made in perfection. Let it be.

I Love You, Be.
